Winter Celebration OOC Dance Monday, 4 p.m. SLT

Our first event for January is an OOC Winter Dance set in a wonderland of gold and black, with ice statues, a magnificent stage, games, and entertainment. I hope everyone will indulge me in one of the most enjoyable community-building activities I've been part of, and that's just a great, old-school SL party. Complete with a sploder, DJ, pageantry, a few games, dance balls, silliness, and hopefully memory making.

Arhyia Jewell (Lady Constance) has really outdone herself on the stage. I've known for quite some time that this owner of Wicked Beast Creations (shameless plug for her – she deserves it!) was a talented builder. One of the areas of focus of Imperial Ar will be to let our talented folks shine and do what they do best, so we can all enjoy it. I'm hoping all our builders will step up and build a few sets this year for us to party-down in.

The theme will be formal – a request, but not a requirement. (Psst, if you don't have formal wear, give me a shout in-world. I know of some fantastic freebies, and I'll be glad to hook you up). Primus Moisant will be DJ'ing, and he'll be doing his “Primus Rocks” show. I'll be throwing out random prizes to the crowd, gift certificates, and we'll having some great games that will keep everyone enjoying themselves through the evening. EVERYONE and ANYONE is invited. The landmark will be given out just in the nick of time while we continue to prepare the set, so keep your eyes open.
